What is LED?
LED is the acronym for "light emitting diode." LEDs are just tiny light bulbs that fit into an electrical circuit. However, unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, there is no filament to burn out, and LEDs don't get very hot. They are illuminated solely by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material.
